Drivers log from a phone
Odometer, fuel level and load, at the start and end of each shift. The app saves to the device and syncs when a signal appears.
Every reading is checked on arrival
Impossible readings are caught on the spot: a refuel larger than the tank, fuel falling while the vehicle sat still, an odometer running backwards. Most are typing slips, and catching them early keeps the rest trustworthy.
The engine learns each vehicle
Overnight, every vehicle is compared against its own history rather than a manufacturer figure. What is normal for a fifteen-year-old truck is not normal for a new pickup.

Distance that does not match the trail
Recorded kilometres compared against the GPS trail from the same shift. With no coverage, the shift is marked unverifiable rather than suspicious.

Measured against what this vehicle has actually achieved over time, so one unusual shift cannot drag the baseline with it.
Refuels away from your usual stations
Your usual stations emerge from the data on their own, with no list to maintain. A purchase well away from them is flagged for confirmation, and often it is a detour.
Slow wear, or a sudden change
A gradual decline over several weeks usually means a service is due. The same loss appearing on one identifiable day points to something that changed. Bluestream separates the two.

Drivers are only ever compared on the same vehicle, so nobody is marked down for being handed the oldest van.
